The role of School Administrator (Postgraduate Research) will be based in 50/52 College Bounds, in the heart of Old Aberdeen. You will be working in a friendly and fast paced environment in an administrative team supporting academic staff and students across our four disciplines and liaising with colleagues in Schools and Professional Services across the University.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy administrative team in the School of Divinity, History, Philosophy and Art History (DHPA) on a secondment basis for a 9-month fixed term period.  

 

As a senior member of the DHPA admin team you will act as the administrative lead for all processes and procedures relating to Postgraduate Research (PGR) programmes within the school. You will be the first and main point of contact for all PGR administration providing specialist knowledge and guidance to approximately 300 PGR students, many of whom are international or study online and by distance learning. You will ensure the school’s full compliance with the UKVI requirements for our PGR students. 

 

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 5 scale, £33,002 - £36,636 per annum, and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
