Research Project Manager
The Centre for Global Development is a centre of excellence committed to inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary working for equity, social justice, and sustainable futures. The centre is a space at the University for staff, students, practitioners, and the public to develop collaborative teaching and research. Our four research themes are: Gender; Health & Well Being; Socioeconomic Transformation & Democratisation; Education.
We are seeking to appoint a motivated and accomplished individual as a Research Project Manager to manage and coordinate project(s) under the Centre for Global Health. The postholder will project manage the “NIHR Global Health Research Group in Promoting Children’s and Adolescent’s Mental Wellbeing in sub-Saharan Africa Project”, with responsibility for the administrative responsibilities of the project at the University of Aberdeen. They will advise and coordinate the work of the administrative staff employed at the partner universities University of Rwanda, Rwanda (project administrator), and Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia (project administrator). The postholder will be based at the Centre for Global Development, School of Education, University of Aberdeen.
The position is funding limited until 31st of July 2026.
Salary will be at Grade 6, £38,249 per annum .
