A Research Assistant is required to provide support to a project that aims to look at factors that contribute to the development of age-related immune remodelling and frailty in older adults, using the UK Biobank dataset. The successful candidate will leverage the UK Biobank’s data to calculate a frailty score for each participant based on 49 previously validated variables. They will then use a hazard regression model to understand factors that contribute to the risk of frailty. This data will augment ongoing ageing mouse models being utilised in our laboratory.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in tissue-based research. The successful applicant will have a background in using human tissues in research projects.

This post is available on a part time basis (50%FTE) for 8 months.
