Lecturer

As part of the continued development of the School of Psychology at the University of Aberdeen, applications are invited for two Lectureship posts on the Teaching and Research (T&R) career track. The candidates must have a track record of outstanding independent research, as evidenced by high quality publications in leading academic journals and have interests which extend any of the School’s existing research strengths.

Research within the School is structured around three highly collaborative themes: Cognition; Perception & Attention; and Social Cognition, with a number of special interest groups both within and across themes. We also have an applied psychology strand, focusing on the impact of our research on society, health and industry. With the expansion of our undergraduate and postgraduate programme portfolio, the successful candidates will also be expected to contribute to teaching at both levels.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 7 salary scale (£41,526 - £49,522 per annum) with placement according to qualifications and experience.
